Foster Care Fund

The Cat Protection Society of Victoria Foster Care Program provides a temporary home to cats who are not yet ready for adoption. This may be because they are too small or young to be adopted, are recovering from an illness or surgery or are finding the Shelter environment far too stressful. Our Foster Care Program ensures these cats are placed in loving environments and receive all of the medical and behavioural care they need to best prepare them for adoption and life in their forever home.

We rely solely on donations to run our Foster Care Program. Your kind donation to our Foster Care Fund will allow us to continue to look after our most at need cats who can’t care for themselves and will be used to:

• Provide our neo-nat kittens with essential formula to bottle feed the kittens when their mum isn’t available
• Provide food, bowls and bedding for every cat that spends time in Foster Care
• To provide veterinary care including desexing, vaccination and microchipping prior to adoption
• And to provide essential training and support to our Foster Carers

As a non-profit, our Society relies entirely on the kindness of donations, legacies and memberships for our day-to-day existence. We receive no government funding.
