Role: Feline Veterinarian (new graduates welcome to apply)

Hours: Part time and full-time opportunities available

  • Overview

The Cat Protection Society of Victoria is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation that has been operating for over 70 years.

We recently moved into a purpose-built facility where we run a Private Clinic and Shelter. As we continue to grow, opportunities have become available for vets to join our current team.

This is a chance to care exclusively for cats and make a difference for strays in the shelter, or loved companions in the private clinic.

You will be joining a team of 5 committed, supportive and experienced vets in well-appointed new facilities. We have an X-ray machine, dental x-rays, in-house blood machine and multiple bright, spacious surgical suites. The hours are fantastic, as the latest we expect to close is 6pm. Saturday work will increase as we continue to grow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Feline or Shelter Medicine. We would look very favourably on ultrasound skills. Our private clinic vet is and ISFM member and we will be an accredited Cat Friendly Clinic

If you have a Veterinary degree registrable in Victoria, please get in touch. We don’t mind whether you are a recent graduate or experienced and we are flexible with hours for the right candidate.

You can look forward to a competitive wage to match your experience, paid study leaves and access to VIN.
