Thanks to you, we’ve got all the towels we need!

…But if you’ve got any blankets lying around, our cats would love to take them off your hands.

The program the towels are for is the Gippsland Indigenous Animal Health Program. This program sees a group of veterinary science and bioscience students spend a week in the restricted indigenous community at Lake Tyers in Gippsland, providing free veterinary shelter medicine to community animals. The group is supervised by the Melbourne Uni Vet School’s Head of Surgery, and Head of Anaesthesia. The students will be transforming an old shed into a fully functioning surgery and reception, and require towels for their furry patients.

The Cat Protection Society of Victoria are assisting in providing towels for the animals during and after surgeries. We are specifically after towels of medium size in any condition. If you can assist this cause please donate your towels at 200 Elder Street, Greensborough VIC and let our friendly staff know that your donation is for the Gippsland Indigenous Animal Health Program.
