Isabelle (known as Lucy at the shelter) was at the CPS shelter for a short time before she met her life companion in Judy Watson from Brunswick. And now Judy cannot imagine life without Isabelle.
“The first minute I saw her, she was standing up, staring straight at me; she had chosen me,” Judy says.
Judy heard about the CPS through her daughters and had been to the shelter a few times to assist with the adoptions of other cats.
Then two weeks ago, it was Judy’s turn. Isabelle’s previous owners did not like her temperament but Isabelle has been showing Judy just how good she can be. According to Judy, she is a very polite and happy cat. She even sleeps on Judy’s bed!
“She was nervous at first, but she’s settling in with our other cat quite nicely.”
It is a very happy re-beginning for Isabelle, and it just goes to show that there is a cat out there for everyone. Judy and Isabelle are just one ‘happy couple’ that the CPS has united. Judy says it was simply meant to be.
“She chose me before she even saw me.”
